Drop-shipping is when you list an item on your website and the supplier ships the item to your customer on your behalf. The way this works on Giftsite is as follows:
- You choose products from our pre-loaded ranges (available within the Import Products section on your Giftsite Dashboard).
- Select the drop-ship option when prompted if required (if you don’t select this option we assume that you have your own stock of this range to dispatch).
- The products appear on your Giftsite complete with all customer facing information and product imagery.
- Edit the sale price if you wish (default price is RRP)
- Any orders containing drop-ship items are automatically routed to the supplier and dispatched.
- Order details can be viewed within the Manage Orders screen of your Dashboard if needed.
- No action is required on your part unless there is an issue with the order.
